This one's mostly just a Harry Shearer flex.

Throwback to my very first copywriting gig, as a promo writer for TV Land, Nick at Nite, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and more. At the time Harry Shearer (The Simpsons, Spinal Tap) was the voice of TV Land, and it was fun to write voiceover copy in a character for him. In the commercial, he's Jacob Marley's ghost warning Scrooge not to ignore the holiday special reruns that were "The Shows of Christmas Past."
